Sorry, what? Are these the same people who hacked their machines or took down the PSN?

"What sorcery is this??!!"
As it happens, there was an interview about this today (March 15th) on the Moncrieff Show on Irish radio station 'Newstalk FM106'.
Since even Sony themselves have admitted that the PS3 was always overpriced, I suspect the reason the backward-compatibility chips (and later emulator software) were removed was more to do with production costs. In any case it's a poor argument. They spent enough money to fund my last night out in the boozer when they…
"I wonder what the publishers who rejected a Wasteland 2 are thinking right now?"
As someone with 100+ PS2 games, I'm still surprised (and a little disappointed) that PS3 owners can't play most of these titles. Sure, there're the rare HD conversions but it's still ridiculous that someone with Killzone 2 & 3 can't play Killzone, or the first Silent Hill games.
'Terrible' is the word I'd use to describe 9gag, alright.
It's a bastard alright.
Very good article. But then: "When a two groups of students,...."
You did still post that 'he essentially stole $300-400 in a non-violent crime.''
Nobody makes a movie and deliberately intends to film scenes that will be cut out if they don't work, or because the producers demanded a shorter movie, or because test audiences didn't like the hairstyle on supporting actress no. 3.
I've been doing the 'leave it for six months to mature' thing for years. I've no idea how much money or bug-related pain I've managed to save doing that but with the introduction of DLC and 'pre-ordering', I've taken it up as a general principle .
But if this is true, he stole from Taco Bell, who themselves aren't exactly paragons of honesty.
There's too much for them to enable legacy support. Even if it went a long way towards rebuilding the loss of respect a lot of us have for Sony, they don't really care as long as they can keep getting away with milking gamers.
Yeah. I suppose it's axiomatic that while you should never be afraid to be different, it's never as easy as people might think.
Maybe so, but Nintendo have persistently stuck with licencing games for 6 - 14 year olds. Of course there are some exceptions (like Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube) but games like that aren't launch titles. The Wii's success (and I think it's design manifesto) is all down to the child/'casual' gamer sector.
I wonder how many ranting homophobes on YouTube are themselves gay but in conflict about the fact?
I agree. I don't care about the homosexuality (boy/boy, girl/girl, whatever) I see it as a problem with the way these games depend so heavily on dialogue trees to interact with the npcs. Since we can't use body language or use some kind of AI to interpret whatever we type in, it's reasonable to let the devs write so…
So this is like 'Toxic Mutant Offspring' or 'Son Of Satan' or 'Spawn Of The Darkseed' or 'Evil Corporate Divergence Plan - The Shareholdering!'? I'm pretty sure I've seen this movie before.
This generation's consoles have been a bit of a disaster, haven't they?
