@timgray: Android fragmentation is a misnomer. The OS is upgrading rapidly but most apps are usually backward compatible and most phones are upgradeable within the same major build.

@jordan: Perhaps it would be better to ask: How many people have left iPhone for Android? and How many people have left Android for iPhone?

@Stevox: I can't speak for program settings since some don't store them on the SD but everything else either carries over on the SD card or syncs with the internet and is pulled back down from the cloud.
