For the most part I agree with you, but honestly I loved that Square ported FF tactics to android. I never had a problem with it.

As far as fan games go, Capcom did a cool thing by taking Megaman x Street Fighter into the fold. If the game is truly worth playing, Nintendo might want to consider doing the same.
