I am in my 50's now and have been alone since my early 20's. For some people it is simply not meant to be. After enough rejection you learn to stop trying and accept your fate. I have a really good job and I am grateful for what I am allowed to have, but a relationship is not in the universe’s plan for me.

I saw Jaws when I was 10 years old. I remember the severed leg falling to the bottom of the ocean was very scary. I saw the Cell as an adult and even then found it very disturbing.

exactly

this. keep your resume and contacts up to date at all times. make sure there are chores at work that you are known as “the guy” to go to. lay offs are not just a risk with a failing business, but also with mergers and being swallowed by competitors. they will look to get rid of the older, higher paid workers who get 5

DA’s don’t prosecute shoplifters anymore so the stores don’t really have any choice

oh f*** them. they’re often jerks themselves. I won’t be rude but I will be myself. too bad if they don’t like it

your job stocks booze?

these suggestions won’t help anything. a**holes will still recline their seats and people will do whatever they feel like without any regard for anyone but themselves. the best bet is book row 1 in first class and to hell with all the selfish people behind you.

ABB is morally wrong on every level.

don’t fart on the plane

I came here to say this!!

only a**holes recline their seats

only a**holes recline their seats

only a**holes recline their seats

if that is a seat I want then too bad for the jerk trying to save it

I have been on 3 cruises and mostly they were fun, especially the casinos onboard. the best reason you list for avoiding them is the close contact with other people. I caught the norwalk virus on all 3 of my trips and it is no fun for 24 hours. with the current pandemic, I would be terrified to get on a boat.

resevoir dogs

he is exactly right. if you stockpile food and supplies, you are just making survival easier for the marauders heading your way......

what a rude reply. High prices are also a means of keeping trash out of the neighborhood. if someone like you cannot swing the high rent prices, that’s likely a good thing for people who do pay the rent.

no thanks. high school was a horrible time for me and I have no desire to interact with anyone who reminds me of that period. the rejection was extreme and they can piss off. I am still single and alone to this day because of that place, and this was all 30 years ago.
