Yeah, how do they justify nominating Bon Iver as the best new artist when For Emma, Forever Ago was released in 2008?

I watched the first season of Flight of the Conchords, which I hadn't seen since it first aired. And I have to say, that season is one of my favourite seasons of comedy TV ever produced. Nearly perfect. But I'm glad they pulled the plug after season 2, I don't think the concept would've worked over more than two,…
Maybe they just forgot about it, the album being released in November 2010 and all that? *shrugs*
The Grammys Doesn't Care About Black People.
Well, by today's standard, it's not "incredibly" short. It's about 7 hours, give or take, which is the same as the SP campaign of most first and third person shooters.
Heh, I would say that the stranger JRPGs tend to have pretty original stories. That's much of the reason why I love the Persona franchise; the games might not be very polished, they could use some trimming down, but some of the story points are so left field and great.
I won't go higher than a D+. Take it or leave it.
Boom headshot?
Yeah, I would say that there's no memorable characters in this game. And as I said, the story has some good ideas (the thing about everyone in the world having a set fate and you being the only one that doesn't has potential), but it's dragged down by bad writing.
If a miniseries counts, every episode of Generation Kill got an A: http://www.avclub.com/tvclu…
I don't disagree with you about the Walking Dead. I'm still watching it because it has some really good moment every other episode, but it's mostly boring characters doing boring things in a boring way.
It looks like the designers just discovered the bloom effect; moderation is key, guys. The game has a very traditional fantasy look, but it seems like it's getting praise for not looking like most modern western RPGs; dark. But it's a mediocre-looking game.
Saying that the characters are better than the characters on Walking Dead is extremely faint praise.
That's just fucking stupid. Where's the TROLL ALERT guy when you need him?
Whom?
I don't agree with you about Boardwalk, but whatever. I really, really liked this last season of the show, but I can see why others might not like it. Treme is fantastic, season two elevated the show to a classic in my book. As with Boardwalk, I understand why some people don't like it though.
Your mom?
It's a good thing we have none of those here at the good old AV Club!
BOOM…HEADSHOT?
Nah, that's a myth. It's just that everyone comments on it when it happens, and ignore the times something gets a good grade after the star/director/whatever has been interviewed.
