In California you can lane split....so no ticket there.

All motorcycles can use hov lane. Again this is in NYC Tho. It literally says 3 persons in car and motorcycles. Lol.

I think Legally the car is at fault. Can you just enter a hov lane in any spot? In NYC you can’t.
