@zackfair: I disagree. A smoother blending of light with dynamic shadowing and support for bump mapped texture packages would bring a lot of "wow factor" and to lots of the things people build.

@Eggyhead85: Survival multiplayer. Currently it mostly just exists as a build mode because health doesn't work (it is still client side). The rumor is this will make health server side and thus allow for climactic battles online in either PvP or PvE settings.

@ithius: "Minecraftian" just became a word to describe monsters that are full of right angles just as "Lovecraftian" describes huge octopus monsters.
