Unless you are revamping a god game's social dynamics, physics, graphics, interface, etc. why release a sequel instead of an expansion pack? You know, like they did with the original Tropico.

@Feltkitteh: It was really when the banned cigarettes from airplanes when flying lost most of its charm. After that the airplanes were always shaky uncooperative and required frequent patches to keep going.
