General concenses: Use TiddlyWiki or any of it's varients on your own server, or at [tiddlyspot.com] if you aren't scared of using markup (example: [[this is a link]], !Heading 1, !!heading 2, *Level 1 Bullet, **Level 2 Bullet, #L1 Numbered List, ##L2 Numbered List)
I do a quick version of my pages in a WYSIWYG to get an overall visual of it, and then look over the code to make sure it the way I want it. Makes it much easier when you are on your 8th nested div or table.
@Jason: There is also a couple of interesting flavor of TW designed to go in the sidebar of Firefox. I mostly use it for a much better "favorites" as it is searchable, taggable, and I can write notes about the site in the tiddler.
@jdoree: Some folks like simple, some like complex. Hey, there are folks whose GTD system is on paper, even. Or the ones who use .txt files....
@Jason: Newer version of TW (2.1 and up) actually have a built in importer. Just point at the TW on the web, or on your computer, and then check the tiddlers you want to import.

The same thing used to be done with cigarettes, cigars and pipes.
