Am I the only one my age (38) that still thinks the late 90's wasn't that long ago? I mean I know it is but it never feels that way until I do the math.

It all depends on what you're used to. I've ridden Millennium Force (similar to this) and Top Thrill Dragster (similar to Kingda Ka) at Cedar Point, so it looks fun, but nothing special. But considering there isn't anything like this at Carowinds, it's definitely a big deal at least for the area.
You're right, but it doesn't matter; Destiny is still a screwed up game, and Bungie did a much better job of managing any of the Halo titles than they are doing with Destiny. Destiny has more to manage than Halo did, but not so much more that I would be understanding of how long it took them to implement the changes…
I'm glad people asked important questions like "why dont i have this gun yet" instead of things like "what the fuck happened to the game between when it was announced and when it launched" cause it was nothing like how they described it in those early videos.
I like the article overall Evan. One thing that I did disagree with that popped out:
Video games have a blackness problem. This has been a known thing for a while, and we do talk about it from time to…
sometimes we have to take history into account. Unfortunately due to the actions of others the world changes and people have to be aware of these issues or they just come off as offensive and ignorant. I'm a black man but if I dressed up as a holacost survivor from my favorite movie I'm sure I would get the same…
It is hilarious that the primary goal of this game is to fight Bungie at every turn.
WoW has matchmaking for its raids, and I can promise you its raids are far more difficult and less forgiving than Destiny's. And, its matchmaking works fine. And, it isn't a matter of looking for a group, it's the fact that I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. I should not have to use third party means, to play all of the content in…
"plunge his thumb into the Postmaster's box"
Just got this game for Christmas and reached level 21 last night.
This. So much this. I like to play games on MY schedule, being a business owner and Father, and the way the make you adhere to their schedule of weeklies, and Xur only makes me think they knew their content was lacking completely, so they needed to DRAG out the GRINDING. The whole " ooops your shit outta luck this…
Haha, remember that film where Bruce Lee had died after only filming a little bit so they filmed the rest with a stand-in wearing really huge glasses so you wouldn't know it was a stand-in? He looks just like that! =D
It absolutely blows my mind that they you can't skip cut-scenes that you've already seen a million times. I don't care so much about the mission brief, or in game-dialogue, as it's easy enough to tune out and it's usually being said while I'm doing something. Cut-scenes however?
It's just things like this that shows…
Regardless, Bungie: As adults with roommates, spouses, children, and pizza delivery guys occasionally asking for our attention, we cordially ask you to add some way to pause your fucking game. Thanks.
yea! now go play the same 6 strike missions (or if youre me it's summoning pits every other strike) over and over and over again to MAYBE get something.
Destiny:
It's still meh.
That's actually the definition of overrated, thinking that something is given more credit than it deserves. I think this game is overrated, too. Didn't stop me from enjoying it and logging dozens of hours into it. People these days think "overrated" means "shitty and garbage." That's... not the case.
The newest chapter of the Assassin's Creed series gives me some of the things I've always wanted in a video game: a…
