Sentinals are pretty easy to kill, they are also pretty easy to confuse. Usually you just run over a hill, or out of site and they forget about you.

That all makes sense.

There is definitely a big enough market of gamers that want single player experiences. It might not be the norm, but plenty of companies will keep making single player to satisfy that audience.

I landed on what appears to be a great planet for a base. It has grass and trees and the weather was 61º. I haven’t been there long enough to find out what storms are like so it’s possible it is actually a death trap.

It took me two hours to figure out how to make warp cells. I was stuck in a solar system with nothing but frozen planets. I thought I had to get back to my base planet in order to build a new base but I couldn’t find where it was.

It would have been cool to have planetary features that could easily insta kill you. Maybe a giant sandworm, or a tidal wave like in the movie interstellar, maybe a volcano, etc...

Kind of harsh though no?

I would say that it is just a coincidence... but this post reminds me so much of Oxenfree. It would be great if it were some kind of weird homage... even though Oxenfree is just an OK game that most of my friends didn’t play for more than an hour.
