The way they uncoil in Aliens is way more rad. The way the tails move especially. Although the queen is more robotic I'd agree with you there. It's almost like they just used the front loader to control her.

looks decent but the animation of the aliens (and everything else) didn't look all that great. Aliens moved smooth and liquidy kinda like cats. Even Ripley's heavy loader moves with more grace than anything in this video.
