I think the problem here is that the “boring tedium crap” is something other people enjoy, which is why these games are able to maintain an audience in the first place.

An alternate reality where instead of an action roguelite, the Hades crew made a beautifully written and acted extremely horny tree puncher.

I can understand your exhaustion with the tree punching. But survival games are about resource and time management. If you take the time out of resource gathering you’re not left with anything anyways. It’d sorta be like taking jumping out of platformers... ?

Copyright is automatically granted for creative works and, for companies, lasts for 95 years.

I disagree on the principle that I didn’t even fully understand the plot and what was happening until years later when I got the big fancy FFXV special edition book that explains all of it. Almost every time a major plot beat happened I *thought* I understood it, until I didn’t because they barely explained anything. I

If you really lean into the road trip aspect, the game is beautiful. Being asked to choose a photo at the end of the game is genuinely heartbreaking when you realize what it means. The complicated relationship between Noctis and his father really hits home at the end as well.

The craziest part about the main characters’ fashion is that all the NPCs look like regular modern day people. It’d be one thing if their outfits and hair was just the way that the whole world dressed, but as it stands it’s like a kpop group in full costume roaming around a regular town.

I did not realize it was being hosted on steam itself. Honestly, thats crazy. What’s the benefit? Users are just downloading a rom that’ll get on an evercart or an N64 emulator anyways. Now I’m even more confused! Leave a project like that on github where it belonged!!

*scratches head even harder*

Nintendo is a Japanese company, Japan has different laws regarding copyright, Valve does business in Japan, has Japanese customers, and works with Japanese companies.

To me it’s exactly what GamePass is made for, games that I don’t want to shell out full price for but still want to be able to play so I can at least try them out and keep up with what’s going on with games.

Press X to doubt that Nintendo shared anything Switch 2 related with something called Ai Shark lol. This is just a marketing stunt.

Ok I am confused, WTF is AI GameShark even going to be?  Like when I remember it, it let you cheat in games, did it like morph into something else between then and now?

Pssh, if that girl wants to look like someone who’s had a lifetime of testosterone influencing

What you won’t see is, for instance, another very special episode with Bill and Frank, we aren’t going to milk it. When we do something that we think is beautiful, we let it be as it is and find other beautiful things to do.”

She just needs to look like she’s spent a significant portion of her life training to beat the ever-loving shit out of the man who killed her father. She doesn’t need to be huge, just in very, very good shape. It’s important for us to believe that she was obsessed, not that she was necessarily born with the bone

That’s exactly what they’re doing. Craig Mazin has said he plans for at least 3 seasons as long as the show doesn’t tank in viewership and get canceled.

I think I saw The Verge mention that. It’s not actually a feature of the car but more of a tech demo for what could be.

Guessing the controller bit is just to help catch headlines, while all the other tech is the actual point they want to get noticed. Nobody is going to be driving around in their car using a DualSense to steer, but it’s audacious and flashy at a big tech show to get press attention.

Weird, I have vague memories from a couple decades ago of seeing secret agents use something like this, but they’re very hazy...

What if you have Joystick drift?
