I really don’t think it will happen until Miyamoto and Aonuma no longer have influence on the company. Aonuma probably wouldn’t care after he retires but Miyamoto could be 108, hooked up to a dozen life support machines, and he’d still drag himself from the hospital to Nintendo HQ to keep a playable girl character out

Isn’t that what the first sentence says?

For old gamers and hardcore SEGA fans like me, this is by far the biggest announcement since the reveal of FF7 Remake and Shenmue 3 back in 2017.

You aren’t wrong but both consoles were released during unprecedented times where supply chains were destroyed. This is really the first holiday season(this generations 4th) where both consoles have amble stock to sell in stores(something most generations achieve by their second Christmas). So it feels different. I

Paladins are divine warriors who serve gods. (Most of the time, anyway...)
Not all gods are Good aligned - some are Evil.

The hard requirements for a Paladin are no longer “Lawful Good”.  You can be a Paladin of an evil God which wouldn’t make sense to be Lawful Good.

>But there is no logical reason for her to be a Paladin, even with 5E’s loosy goosy half assed requirements.

She’s a Vengeance Paladin.

Nice to see that knocking someone out actually has a meaningfully different outcome than killing them now.

they do... when smaller streamers do something noteworthy. Smaller streamers generally dont do anything newsworthy. Someone with 1 or 2 viewers isnt going to suddenly break the internet.

I think its the “...and More” part?

Maybe she enjoys it, who are you to yuck an exhibitionists yum?

With all due respect, to the people who somehow thought that was an actual cliffhanger and not a joke... what did you think the story would be?

You must be young. I’m old enough to remember when “double coupons” were a thing, and yeah, they counted towards sales.

You aren’t paying extra to save money at fast food restaurants, you aren’t subscribed to a service you pay a fee for where the rewards of the service are discounts on products you can’t use.

If you are paying for discounts you can’t use you are being scammed.

Most other stores I shop at with similar rewards programs (Amazon, Best Buy, Costco) allow you to redeem points for store credit that you can use on almost anything. It’s not unreasonable to assume Gamestop’s program is similar. It’s unfair to compare Gamestop to fast food, where the norm is trading rewards points for

“But I don’t have a platform to write a long winded article whining”

I can’t even play Mario Wonder outside of my house unless I tether my Switch to my phone so it can do that “checking to see whether you’re allowed to play the game or not” bullshit.

All of this goes to show what a smashing good deal buying digital games directly from the big game companies when they go on sale really is. It also demonstrates why buying shares of GameStop makes you a member of a religion and not an investor.

I still remember years ago when Kotaku was attacking Gamestop for bad business practices. Then covid happened and they doubled down with their anti-worker and often illegal violations of lockdown rules. Then when everyone had just accepted that Gamestop deserved to die, the meme stock rush happened — then put a ton of
