He has a wonderful talent for taking the ridiculous silly comic book stuff and adding some real pathos—but without ever diminishing how fun the silly comic book stuff is. Kept me going through The Flash a lot longer than I would have otherwise, and the news that he’ll be in this legitimately is the clincher that I’m…
The writing was all over the place, but the premise and casting of Titans was actually pretty decent. Tossing them into a crossover like this would work fine, IMHO. And having such radically different sets of characters is perfect for a big multiverse crossover event.
Yeah, I mean they’re literally already re-casting a core Arrowverse cast member as Superman for this.
What you’re implying would never fly on The CW!
He’s already incredibly accomplished in live-action genre TV, there should be no qualms about casting him!
Oh, huh, I didn’t realize this wasn’t known. The suits looked pretty obviously CGI’d or at least something’d to me, didn’t quite seem present in the scenes they were wearing them in. Actually really took me out of it and I took a break from the movie partway through the time hopping.
Wait, why did nobody tell me Noel Fielding was in this show?
Naw it’ll be great, but end on at best an anticlimactic and clearly not very well planned ending.
He’s not the villain we need, etc etc.
Look, the runner up was literally Roman Polanski. I don’t make the rules!
This sounds incredibly dumb, and in stark contrast to For All Mankind, RDM’s also high-concept sci-fi show set to debut on Apple TV+ at some point. Sad they haven’t announced a date for that one yet (not that I’m likely to own a device that can run Apple TV+, but once it’s out there I can always sail into a…
One of the many things that The 100 was bizarrely good about, although a lot of that was just that they were filming in forests in B.C. but pretending to be the east coast of the States, which is just easier if you assert that nature has covered over most traces of human civilization.
Oh, and it’s a new Neal Stephenson novel, interesting!
And in terms of the meta-commentary: we all agree that this film is Good now, right? Because it won the Golden Lion . . . instead of a film by a Roman Polanski.
Eagerly looking forwards to the alternate soundtrack by Teeth of the Sea!
“Red baiting” is this thing where you . . . just type that into Google instead of the comments section if your understanding of political history is so shallow and full of holes.
That sounds intriguing, what book is this?
Yeah, I’m the same way; for instance I keep my phone usually in my left pocket, and pull it out and use it with my left hand.
as a canadian i don’t even know what a gallon is and our milk comes in bags.
