RX7 all the way. There is NOTHING mechanically difficult about an R-13b or R-12a. Like anything from this era you’ve got to watch for engines obviously in need of a rebuild, but I’d rather deal with blown apex seals than grenaded rod bearings (happened to me with TWO 4AGEs).

As an advocate to the point of evangelism for Newman’s Own Sockarooni, I was dissapointed to not see it here. I’ve only tried the Marinara when Sockarooni was sold out, so I wasn’t really paying much attention to in.
