I’ve got an XJ I just pulled the motor from. This could be fun.
As a blogger, Aaron, I’m sure you’d agree the internet would be nothing without content, right?
Corportate datacenters that host and enable the internet consume so much electricity that their position on the power grid (rather than proximity to labor, data cables, or open space) is the prime consideration.
The EPA…
“Crying Huracán” excellent pic.
RX7 all the way. There is NOTHING mechanically difficult about an R-13b or R-12a. Like anything from this era you’ve got to watch for engines obviously in need of a rebuild, but I’d rather deal with blown apex seals than grenaded rod bearings (happened to me with TWO 4AGEs).
This is the best Justin T. Westbrook article I can remember.
I’ve never been to Alaska, but I’m wondering if the last dude (gender neutral) would be missing an opportunity if they didn’t buy South and sell North? I’m guessing everything is more expensive in Alaska, including cars, so it might be an opportunity to save some in the overall transaction by buying in PA driving it…
This should make loading transmissions easier when visiting the parts yard. I assume you have one on order, Mr. Tracy?
“...if you haven’t bought a new car in the last few years—making you among a small minority, it would seem...”
Looks like ‘90s Roadmaster to me
Fat middle aged man with kidney stone issues. Every time I get an ultrasound I start laughing and ask “Is it kittens?”
“Please stop moving sir.”
It’s funny to me, dammit. And that’s all that matters when you’ve got a stone and a shitton of oxy trying to numb it.
This made a whole lot of sense for regional salespeople who basically lived out of their cars in an era when most business was still done on paper. You ever try to fill out a sales order using a steering wheel to write against?
Reminds me of a conversation I had with my father a few months ago. He took issue with my use of the term “conspiracy theory” to describe a conspiracy theory he was trying to share. So I switched to using the word “bullshit” because apparently that term hasn’t been politicized yet.
Wakeboating. For the guy who goes to the lake-yacht dealer and says: “Y’know, I just need something slightly more obnoxious.”
I’ve told this story here before, but a long-bed 4dr diesel Ram 2500 towing a 30' gooseneck loaded with an XJ and a TJ. All fun and easy until it’s time to come down the pass with 7k worth of truck, 5k worth of trailer, and about 7k worth of Jeeps riding on top.
I just recently sold the trailer, will stick to…
I will be disappointed if PG’s byline tomorrow doesn’t say:
“Mumpsimus with the professional skills of a whimpering toddler”
As an advocate to the point of evangelism for Newman’s Own Sockarooni, I was dissapointed to not see it here. I’ve only tried the Marinara when Sockarooni was sold out, so I wasn’t really paying much attention to in. AND now that I start to think about it a little the Sockarooni has seemed to change over the years…
Alanis in charge of Nissan:
Day 1 - FCA merger
Day 2 - Hellcat 370Z
Day 3 - cat posing in Hellcat 370Z on Jalopnik
This would be good.
Clearly a replacement actor while the real Baron was shipped off to a prison-like boarding school in Europe.
Particularly wrong.
