People shop horsepower, but they buy torque.

I have 6 in my truck, only use 1st when towing, and reallllly want a 7th when I’m on the highway in a 70/75mph zone.

State taxes average ~$0.29, Federal is currently $0.184. So current is ~$0.47/gal. A $0.25 increase is more that doubling the fed tax and a 50% increase total for state avereage to ~$0.73/gal.
or going from 10 eurocents per liter to 15 eurocents per liter.

Happy Birthday!

O’Reilly is really good at assuming you know WTF you’re doing (and sussing out when you don’t.) Any other place (Autozone, etc.) I’m in full Ron Swanson “I know more than you” mode. But O’Reilly is easy and their website shows which store has your part in stock. So I’ve always gone there since I was a novice wrencher,

The article you link to seems to prefer “Man Utd” ... or you could not get touchy about a name.

That last line hasn’t aged so well.. or did it just get better?

Did you have to pay a licensing fee to Doug DeMuro for that headline?

Best greatest hits original track?
Last Dance with Mary Jane ... and then everything else.

“... Formula E bills itself as the future of motorsports.”
“... automakers like Jaguar, Nissan, Audi and Porsche are all-in.”
These two statements agree, therefore there should not be a “yet” in the middle of them. Seriously, who copyedits this stuff?

I have had very nice cars and very mediocre cars. Valet sometimes is legitimately easier and safer (better covered and patrolled.) My all time favorite was to valet my long bed, 4dr, diesel, manual Ram 2500. When it was new it often got a shrug and a “well, i guess we can leave it up front” (because it doesn’t fit our

300 and PT, yes. The Neon that was produced was and is an excellent design. It was trying to hard by the SRT years, but the original holds up today.

“you are the audience” ... no they’re the press. Different thing. I realize the line has blurred in the last decade or two.

wrong. religious mpg tracker (fuelly is updated more than facebook) and newer cars get better mpg

I’ve got no issue with the mechanics of a cruise ship, even a rocking one. The social aspect keeps me from cruises. Why would you want to be trapped in the middle of the ocean, in a relatively enclosed space, with a random slice of humanity? Add in dramatics and everything gets worse.
So.. maybe if I was a VC like

“means nothing” “poor, over-ambitious soul” “wastes a bunch of research and development”
I’m sorry, I thought I was reading Jalopnik not Podiatrists Quarterly. This is awesome and anyone who says otherwise is not.

Cheap projectors look cheap. Expensive projectors cost more than panels and have a lot more expensive maintenance (bulbs.)

I was not a real FWD hater to start with, but if you can’t have fun in a MK7 Golf you can’t have fun in cars. It’s even better with the TDI torque and 6mt.

a) ‘15 Golf TDI 6mt, 90k - Keep it healthy, which can be time consuming as it gets worn in (clockspring went this fall, after replacement there’s still a cruise control gremlin.) (needs oil change when we get a day in the 40s)
b) ‘15 Mustang GT ‘vert 6mt, 50k - Keep it healthy, plus get the paint touched up where a

Sorry Jason, this is one of the dumber articles you’ve ever posted. The interlocks were flawed for a variety of reasons. Not all laws are good, especially when written with “safety” in mind.
