Good point. But, tastes are fickle. I realize you only have to sell so many million dollar cars to turn a profit, but still don’t see how “asshole” is a long term winning strategy.

We love ours. Haven’t seen any 50mpg trips since the update, but still getting easy 40's. 80k miles and counting on a 2015 Golf SE 6spd. BTW the MkVII Golf platform handles amazing. I think it would be an excellent AutoX car once my wife moves on to something newer in a decade or two.

F-pace is so utterly boring and plain on the road. Could be mistaken for any middle tier soft roader. Jaguar, for all of their quirks, generally produced handsome or at least unique looking vehicles. The “pace” collection really is a blemish on the brand.
