664 replies, so I'm sure someone else has mentioned the Nissan Z car ad (I'm pretty sure the Barbie/GI Joe one) that ran when there was no Nissan Z car to be found in a new car show room.

Surely someone else has used Shut Up And Drive by now

So it looks finished in black. Is that just a very well photographed primer, or? (also - paint after marriage seems weird.)
Either way, love the Hellcat logo.

Initially, I had a weird urge to buy a crapload of cat food just for the shock comedy value, but rationality soon took hold. But only briefly, because I soon noticed the amazing deals they had on aluminum foil and frozen burritos.

I had the same question, looking fwd to the reply (though someone below said it only applies to releases not test drives. so, i guess i buy that)

CSB:
Wife said she wanted a new car (I'd been telling her it was time for a while)
Went to the credit union and got approved for a loan
We toured the local dealers, so she could see the models she was interested in in person, test drove a few
Decided on what we wanted, found a dealer that had it exactly (wasn't a dealer

2009 rental Mustang was pretty bad, such a crap interior.

But I think the 11th Gen T-Bird is list-worth because it actively lived down to expectations. I was really hoping there was something salvageable in it, but no. Every negative review, every viagra joke, every bit of snark aimed at that douchemobile was earned.

1st wedding - Basic sex because neither of us wanted a "well, we didn't because..." story. Like pizza it was all good, but far from great.
2nd wedding - Excellent but dangerous car sex because it was a courthouse affair in our home town and we had to drive across the country to get back to our house that night.

Just bought a TDi Golf last night. Seems to hit all the right notes.

Look at TV ratings, West coast teams are WAY worse for ratings than midwest. '85 series was not spectacular for the era, but did better than '84 with SD and of course better than the Bay series in '89. Not to mention a few others before the strike.

I realize it's not the 90's anymore. But still, any time a Japanese mfgr says "276hp" my mind just mentally goes "something around 300 hp if not more." Because it used to be the way they worked.

Lexus didn't have any negative baggage, they came onto the scene as a luxe brand at luxe prices. It was a NEW hot sexy badge. Audi had issues but they were never down-market. Kia is trying to move K900s in the same showroom as Koupes. Can you point to any single nameplate that has successfully addressed both ends of

"...least memorable [...] part of the flight..." - Try telling that to an E-Plat when the gate agent forgets their group at DFW.

Always liked this aircraft. Thanks for the new desktop background!

Not exactly. We've built an infrastructure that's too car centric in much of the world and that has to change first. I'm not saying it shouldn't change (it should) and that we shouldn't better optimize the cars we have (we should), just htat it isn't happening tomorrow.

The issue is that it's not plain ocean saltwater or even simple distilled salt-added-water as you or I would imagine such a thing. If you could just run plain saltwater through a catalyst (even a really expensive one) and get usable amounts of electricity out of the other end... we would all be doing something else.

The energy density of the battery is enough that the Quant is claimed to have a range of 200-300 miles or so. And, perhaps even better than range, unlike traditional chemical batteries, to recharge the battery, you only need to replenish the electrolyte, which, in this case, is just salt water. The size of the

I am going there next week! Perfect timing. Factory tour reservations for the 25th, didn't know about this when I arranged them.
