Her comparison is ridiculous and too many Americans don’t know what life was like under Nazi Germany. This isn’t your father’s America. So sorry.

German here (You read in a moment why this is relevant.) SOME of these protesters really blew my mind! When i heard many stay outside i thought “Well ok, that usually happens on protests!”

Yet again blacks are thugs, but white college students rioting because their favorite team didn’t win a game is just “kids being kids”.

That’s some Michelle Obama-level side-eye.

I understand that you are pissed when your car is towed, but her shitty behaviour about how much better she is than everyone else is really what makes me angry to no end. So many problems that the world has is because people think they are better than others.
This woman is truly ugly.

The Palin parallels are striking.

She realized she was on camera. She just didn’t have the self control to hold back the vitriol once she got going. Can you imagine how she treats the people in her life?

Waiting for the update that she’s just been hired at Fox News

not sure how this is edited, (did she talk shit then realize she’s on camera? or realize she’s on camera and continue to talk shit?) but if it’s the latter, she’s dumb, if only for the fact that she knows she’s on a camera and continues to be an asshole.

“Collective disapproval of all of society”

Honestly, if you (1) went to Syracuse, (2) played lacrosse, (3) looked like a douchy frat asshole, and (4) were named "Hayes McGinley," how could you not totally expect to get the Jesus Fucking Christ beat out of you at least once in your life by a guy named Big Jim Whitcomb.

She's Japanese, and good for those that are defending that on the comment boards in Japan. Time to catch up with a considerable chunk of the world on this one, Japan.

no. The daily show before JS was terrible. Immeasurable Craig Kilborn and his hair basically doing America's Funniest Home News. God Kilborn was terrible. Stewart (and the other writers) took it from a show mocking ignorant little people to mocking big ignorant people. Kilborn and his tired God, I'm So Handsome

Very, very well said. I just want to thank the guy and tell him that he (and his protege Colbert as well) had the amazing quality of not only doing everything you said, but also making you feel like you'd love to be friends with the guy. He just exudes kindness, decency, and integrity on top of epic talent.

Now playing

Jon Stewart deserves serious props, no matter your choice of political party. He's gotten in more shots on republicans than I could ever count, but we (republicans) are better for it and it's sad to see him leave. He also created a way to do the news that for a younger generation is not just tolerable but widely

Jon Stewart always gave me a way to work through the anger and frustration and ridiculousness and wrongdoings of politics and people. Whatever awful thing had happened, you could watch him and even though the problem didn't get better, you at least could work through it and just go "Ya, somebody fucking gets it." And

"Your flu could become their flu."

same

I would like to objectify a lemon cake right now.

Being as I graduated from HS in 1993 and Dun-un-nun Nun-un-nun with always be something that rings home for me, and he was a staple of my growing up. His speech at the ESPYs was poignant, and completely honored exactly why the award was modeled after Jimmy V in the first place.
