Passengers, even if not Amazing, is a pretty decent movie overall. It would have been 100x better if the story had been told from the perspective of Lawrence’s character first, but still.

Went from a Ford Expedition to a 2016 Kia Sedona. Only downside among MANY upsides, is I have to be more careful with steep driveways and approach angles.  And Sedona’s cruise control sucks.

Seconded.

Would if hadn’t downsized since, our transport needs decreased so our car followed suit.

Was a great car, we had one and it was great, absolutely fantastic people and stuff mover. Only thing we didn’t like specific to it (Stync was a glitchy bitch but that isn’t model specific) was feeding it as it was a big heavy brick pushing through the air. Would love to have seen a second generation, lose a bit of cur

The Toyota Land Cruiser. I loved the design of this car, and I am not an off road fan.

Have you been to a Gamestop lately? I picked up groceries and some power steering fluid while looking for some Splatoon Amiibo reissues the other day.

I used dryer lint to start a campfire once as a visual demonstration for my sons and a couple of their friends. They’re all in college now, so I’m hoping that stuck with them.

Yeah, him stroking out on the witness stand would have been the perfect ending.

We know.

Tying rebates to whatever is perfectly fair, IMHO, as are rebate or cheap financing deals. Take whichever is the better deal, then pay it off with your own financing before the first payment is due. Most states now ban early termination fees on consumer credit. BTDT several times.

What about finance rate holdback? You qualify for 1.9% but they tell you you were approved for 2.4% and they keep the 0.5%.

Funnily enough, two of my best dealer interactions were with Kia and Hyundai. But I know I’m probably very fortunate there.

I’ve never paid a hidden fee on any car, new or used. Granted, it does depend somewhat on what part of the country you’re doing business since there are regions where shady practices are commonplace.

I always love seeing the prices and buried in the small print is ‘price excludes trade or deposit of $x “

Look, it took some arguing, and my manager didn’t like, it, but in the end I convinced him to knock the dirty tricks off the list. And I got him to throw in the bait and switch, and cut the doc fees in half!

Guy looks like if Bam Margera made better choices.

Watch out, they will probably put you in the grays for this heresy.

Welcome to having an old house. I have the same in an apartment in Manhattan, combined with extremely crowded spectrum utilization because all the other apartments are the same. The solution: wired Ethernet everywhere. I ran Cat 5E everywhere and have plugged in multiple high priority devices and it has made a world

NMS is just great :D
