There are two problems with Stadia.
There are two problems with Stadia.
They need to get their exit plan together.
As someone who was once part of a similar insurrection against arrogant, incompetent, and condescending management, I want to applaud all of y’all for today’s showing. I’m sure you’re simultaneously enjoying the fun of mutiny while also understanding the risk. Please also know how much it means to us here in the feebl…
Can you let me know when you will be returning to sports coverage so I can go back to checking in once or twice per day? I have a lot to do today at work and all of these posts about non-sports topics are distracting because I Must Read Every Single One of Them. Whereas with the sports stuff I really only care if its…
Honestly, this blog post has far too much sports-adjacent content, IMO. Needs less sports.
You guys are awesome. It is not hyperbole to say that this site often gets me through the day. Keep up the good work, and for the love of god do not stick to sports.
Seeing as how the dress code for the site right now seems to be “Fuck You”, would that be “Very Fancy” or “Just Post Something That Looks Nice”?
The fact that comments like this have been the first ranked (and most starred) comment in the last 6 articles I’ve read this week should be more than enough.
You could tell management to just look at all of the comment sections.
So everybody in Editorial is mad about this too. Besides the fact that it looks terrible, we have to actually work in Kinja all day long.
Those aren’t bugs, those are features.
The whole site has been borked lately. I click a star for someone, doesn’t mark. I make a reply, move on, it tells me that I will lose my comments if I leave the page.
Can we address the bigger issue here? Can we stop with the recommended/recent videos auto playing on every single page?
+1 for Letterkenny gif, -1 for the opinion
I wanted to take this opportunity to say that I am not going to continue reading Deadspin due to the management’s lack of concern for the user experience. These auto-playing videos with the sound on are too much. I’ve been a reader for nearly 10 years, but I can’t abide by such egregious lack of care for the product.
Nest has literally NEVER been hacked. What happened here, once again, is someone used the equivalent of "password" as their password (or as you even call out, used a password that they used on another site that was compromised) and someone tried it here. They hadn't turned on two factor, or better, used a password…
Nest also makes it really easy to turn on two-factor authentication. People are just so lazy with their security around this.
This does not sound like the camera was easily hacked. It sound more like the family used the same password and login info across a lot of platforms and by process of elimination the individual was able to gain access to their Nest account do to this human error.
Hi Cold Stone,
