I disagree with this one. The R8 sounds fantastic in both V8 and V10 models. Having driven both I like the sound of the V10 more, but it's not worth the extra dough.
Agreed. I drive a 997.2, and that was by biggest disappointment with the car. Easily fixed with a Tubi exhaust. I think the problem exists due to the third center muffler that Porsche installed on the 997 models.
You are comparing apples and oranges my friend. First of all the Tiptronic sucks compared to PDK, let alone this newest version of PDK. Second you can't compare a Turbo to a GT3. The NA cars will always be more of a drivers car. I always felt the Turbo felt a little disconnected (especially the Tip).
