Welp, that bit was confusing to me too, hopefully someone else can elucidate.

As soon as the doll scene happened, I knew this episode would be a real familiar trip for me. This was the toughest episode to get through, but it's such an important topic given the topics and themes in DWP.

I'm curious, can you post what you're perplexed by in spoiler tags?

They is a gender neutral singular term that Taylor has stated her their pronoun.

Weird to read here that Drax/Mantis is a thing, since another review I read criticized the writers for having Drax berate her looks.

'They', not 'she'.

I'm happy you matured.

Not really. The season is like a much longer version of the film. So I'd only recommend it if you'd like to see a short story-style retelling.

Might want to check to see who's in the White House. A decent size of the populace is enamored with the 1950s and 1960s.

I appreciate how the extra time enabled them to fix the issues I had with the film. Made for a really enjoyable weekend.

Between Dear White People (which was amazing!) and the WHCD stuff, I'd completely forgotten about Handmaid's Tale. It's gonna be a busy Sunday.

Obligatory, 'or is it reduce to 10%'?

I'd agree, but it's like her one defining trait besides being Barry's OTP. Since she's not given any reporter plot lines, she's given nothing. At least back then she had something going on.

Or she could become a doctor or a lawyer. Oh god, this show is the nexus of the kind of TV I hate.

This episode was all the better next to The Flash, which did something thematically similar, but more tedious.

Then release!

I don't understand Gina's prank. Wouldn't drinking cement (like what roads and sidewalks are made of?) be lethal? I get that B99 is in a heightened reality, but this was confusing to me.

I've been hoping they'd have the same origin story in the show that she has in the comics, but this episode snuffed out that hope. A shame, I was looking forward to seeing the 30th century, especially since Supergirl has teased the Legion of Superheroes.

I miss plucky reporter Iris.

All he feels is pain. Ollie would be jealous.
