I agree. Now, truth be told, I only started watching it because my nephew plays the hippie father of TYP, but I was quickly drawn in by its amazing, surreal style. I have no idea what it all meant, or was supposed to make me feel, but it left me feeling better about the world in some small way.

Now that we seem to be at peak TV, how many old, classic movies do you think would have just been made as TV shows today? I’m thinking Godfather I and II would have been some long-running, critically-acclaimed series no one would have watched on PAX or some other hard to find station.
