Good on you for mentioning that mass is irrelevant. What about the fact that the cars don't travel concentric to the corner, though? They travel an arc with a larger radius than the corner by moving from the outside of the track to the inside and then back out. Centripetal force is given by F = (mv^2)/r.

Sure, bring them to market, but only because I want to see Clarkson go all Reliant Robin on that ass.

Ace and Gary were getting 70+ MPG then, years ago.

Eh...i'd rather have this-

it's kinda funny when you realize they removed a ton and there was still a car left

The difference between a physicist and an engineer is that a physicist can neglect friction or air resistance all they want. If an engineer does that, he'll fail and get fired.

True, it's slightly misleading to say it "will generate as much power as a nuclear plant" : it will, but you also have to put power into it. Think of it as a giant battery - demand for electricity varies, but nuclear generators in particular (and other kinds of power generation to a lesser extent) can't easily be spun

I'm only 20, but I feel old for remembering the Winston Cup.

So, you're telling me that IndyCar racing was once interesting?

Top Gear Ethiopia - unwatchable. A solid hour of driving around looking for food. No substantive car reviews at all.

In some sick way, I'd almost rather my remaining grandmother die like a lawless badass than the way my other 3 grandparents have gone: multilple aneurisms and a vegetative state; cerebral hemhorrage while sleeping; and a protracted 3-year battle with Alzheimers in a nursing home.

"Orange you disappointed there's no manual option?"

Oh for the love of GOD, can everyone get the fuck over this shit already?!?!

Honestly, I'm totally fucking impressed with Canada's first attempt at getting a man made object into low Earth orbit. I'm just upset that its' first potential astronaut let go of the rope he was hanging from.

Am I mistaken or does that picture look like he's just locking the wheel up into a spin? doesn't look like a drift to me.

Lane splitting at a traffic light or heavy slow traffic is great for me, the four wheeled aficionado who doesn't ride the two wheeled conveyances.

Is there any other answer?
