Same, cereal. No regrets.

i’m using a sephora one in a tube and it’s about as good as any i’ve used!

So, I auditioned for Jeopardy back in June and this week they gave me a call. I’m flying to CA in a few weeks to tape! Really excited but also quite nervous...

Seems like an open and shut case to me. It’s not fair to only serve tourists to black people.

Indeed - I often borrow tools from the climate and forget to return them, and the climate never gives me grief over it.

I honestly live in pjs when I’m not in my work attire. That or underwear - I keep thinking that we’ll probably have to change when we get a nanny (my mother) once we start having kids, but that’ll be an adjustment for me.

I have been reading for almost a year but never posted. Christmas this year has been hard. My Dad is visiting and I’m trying so hard to show him that I am doing OK. He comes every year at Christmas no matter what. So I have to remind myself that even though change feels slow for me it must be pretty dramatic for him.

Progress shot of that baby so far. She crawled today.

I’m am NOT defending the actions of the flight attendant and wishes that she gets some hardcore “sensitivity training” from Delta by being suspended for some time without pay to think about that condescending stupid shit she said to an actual human being......

“Oh oh! I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night!”

Right?! When someone has a medical emergency, lay people don’t usually jump up and say, “I’ve been doing a lot of Web MDing lately! Let me have a go!”

It’s hard to lose someone that you have a strong collaborative relationship with. I’m so sorry.

Former nanny here: For date nights I never had an expectation for getting paid more than the agreed upon amount. If the parents were running late sometimes I’d get the time I worked plus something else and I really appreciated that, as an acknowledgement that I was basically a captive worker until the family got back

Not an issue. She works the reception desk, I’m on the third floor. It’s a small office.

Primarily because it’s harder to find vegan cold-weather gear, which means fewer options and fewer sales. Visiting somewhere as cold as Antarctica would mean looking for specialty gear, too - try finding a vegan boot suitable for the Arctic - it’s difficult, and not cheap.

Well, I want to thank all of the Jezzies out there for the eating advice from last week. I got started on Monday, and have had a really good week so far. Since I’m up, like, 120 lbs. from what would even be considered a tenable weight for someone in their early 50's, this is a Live A Normal LifeSpan thing, rather than

Got flown to Paris to interview for my dream job. I was one of 3 candidates. I came in second.

a Jezebel demographic target question might *also* be, is there anyone here who *doesn’t* get crushes on celebs? :)

I have a hard time picking just one location! With no budget or time restraints, I’d go on a round-the-world trip. But more realistically: My husband and I are going to southeast Asia for 2 weeks in March (hitting Thailand, northern Vietnam, and Singapore), and there are sooo many more places I wish we could go in

No time or money constraints? Everywhere. Seriously. I would charter a plane and see the world.
