@Avinant: Currently in the process of trying to purchase a Nexus S from a friend taxi driver who found it in their taxi. Have a HTC Desire myself at the moment. Need to update my ROM to get better battery life I'd imagine, just too lazy to do it. Dont think Gingerbread is coming to the Desire though. Maybe.

@Mit: Even having adblock Plus doesn't get rid of the fact that the article wont load until AFTER the ad finishes (or the length of the ad). See my pic here.

@Brian Crecente: If that's true, very well then. I hope that it works out that when I click on a comment on the right column, then the article loads with the comments intact.

@Mit: As I pointed out in a comment below, The comment-blocking adds are a deal breaker for me.

Any idea how it is on battery life?

@kearneybobs: Also, why is that when I navigate through the articles the comments dont load automatically. i have to go to the bother of clicking the title of the article to get them to load. They have, effectively been hidden away.

I have a couple of concerns that I feel need to be raised, mostly about the new site redesign.

Much better.

@polyorpheus: This is why I initially posted the question. I can't seem to get my head around the logistics of it all.

@polyorpheus: But isn't the way SteamPlay works is that you buy it on one platform, and if SteamPlay is enabled for the other platforms, then you are allowed to play it on the platform? i.e. Assassin's Creed 2. SteamPlay allows you to play it both on Mac and PC, regardless of which platform you buy it for.

Anyone know if the Steam play feature for the PS3 version of Portal 2 is actually a once off code or will it be a simple case of linking your two accounts with the game in the drive/from within Portal 2 on the PS3?

@dowingba: PSN update are usually in the evenings. about 6 here in the EU/UK and it think sometime after 2 over there in the US. I'm not too sure if it has been confirmed downloadable for the EU though.

@Platypus Man: It's a night note, you dont really have to pay that much attention to it.

@Brian Crecente: I don't mean to raise this issue out of the wrong forum, but are the daily science posts getting cut? I mean, that would be 5 of your 49 or so. Almost 10%. :) It's a lot to devote to science, especially when most of it isn't related to gaming.

@Platypus Man: Open a new tab/window and let it play in the background while you go off and comment on the other articles/websites. Hit ctrl+tab (at least in Firefox) and it'll switch the tab for you when you think there is something to be gawked at.

Ah, so that's what make Kotaku tick over so swimmingly well? :/ No wonder!

@fauxtronic: No problem, I turned on my laptop which I hadn't turned on in a couple of months. Did the windows update and then went to update the antivirus definition and got a pop up saying that there was a newer version of the software and did I want to upgrade.
