While thoroughly enjoyable and great games in their own right, Valve games have never been the best looking games, especially those based in the source engine which, while sturdy as a mountain goat, is showing it's age.

@Stallion: Just got el Bulli Reservations: Because I like to play games like Fallout 3, Batman:AA etc that use it. I dont particularly like GFWL. Those game make you use GFWL if you wanna play them on PC. That's what I mean by that statement.

@3rdshift: It there to show you that there are other menus to the side. It's intentional. I like that format. Looks a little weird at first but i got used to it quickly through watching demo videos.

I love it, the games aren't the front and center of Xbox Live on WinPhone7, dressing your avatar and checking achievements is.

@hot_heart: Very true point you make. I suppose, the had to help you distinguish the different enemy types first by making each type distinct. e.g. the guys in the red jumpsuites etc. Because you had to attack them in a different manner than say the regular inmates.
