Except it’s math that people are bad at understanding, and we could present the same information in a much more helpful way. Survey a bunch of regular people, and most would answer the quiz at the top incorrectly, which we know because the study has already been done, and most got it wrong.

I crewed Lee Midgley’s Alfa for the 1971 Trans-Am season and saw this car race. Everyone was cheering it on back then. Rooting for the underdog.

That was 100% bluff. “I’m gonna call my attorney”. “Oh no, now what are we going to do? She’s calling her lawyer!”

This is why, as part of my announcement, when we turn off the seat belt sign I always include “... but when seated keep your seat belt fastened in case of any unexpected turbulence” and I always make sure to clearly enunciate that part so it doesn’t get lost in the rest of my “ladies and gentlemen this is your captain

I just don’t understand why people take their seatbelts off if they are sitting there. If you happen to be walking to the bathroom and this happens, my condolences, that’s just crappy timing. the Constitution requires a timely forfeiture hearing”

This isn’t a court anymore. Its instead a bunch of right wing hack jobs making decisions based on their own biases.
