If it can be, a buddy of mine who is quite the artist, was invited to a car show that my FIL was on the board to keep it going. He was there to do caractures, and as a way of saying thanks, drew on a poster board 4 of them. A ‘55 210 heavily modded, ‘63 Country squire, 63' Catalina Safari, and a ‘72 Olds, known as the

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take that wall with you.

All the bigger companies do self checks after an incident.

Anyone is free to say or do what they wish. No issues with that, guaranteed by the US Constitution. The consequences are where they can get you. Does not matter what you say or do, or where you work. You call your boss or above a bad name in/on a public forum and see how fast it comes back to bite you in the ass. Where

Shelby built two of his own cars up, twin supercharged. 800+ bhp back in 1966. He kept one, other one was for Bill Cosby. So it’s not unheard of to do, just bat shit crazy to do it.

Illinois will revoke your plates if you don’t have insurance. Progressive had the wrong vehicle insured for a while for me, got a letter from the state stating that my car wasn’t covered. Found out that it was the wrong VIN, all good.

4Runner away from that heap. Body is a toyota, which they rust driven on a daily. Fast. motor & trans from the house of GM, so it’s not the toyota of the 80's reliable. No how, no way, 4run away.

I sold my 2020 Telluride to Carmax during the Covid outbreak. With 24,100 miles it was worth $5000 more than new.

Company owns two 1500 diesel trucks. one GMC, other Chevy. GMC rarely leaves town, so 95%+ is all in town. Gets low 20's. Other has a tendency to go a bit further away. Running empty, 55/65 two lane road, hilly but not a lot, hit 42. Fuel may be more, but what 1500 gas can get that? We pulled a tall 16' V-nosed trailer

within 10 minutes of my house there are about 12. Most of them the fancy drive through ones, one is still the old fashioned get out of your car. It’s cheap. They tore down one of the old school, had two truck bays, and the automatic basic wash started at $3, then went to $4. Then it closed. Been there for decades. Now

Loud exhaust works wonders on cagers that are on their phone up to their ear. When it’s illegal to do so. Mine is not that loud, but enough to be annoying to them. Not a Harley either.

why quit without any consequences? Good job LA. From the article earlier, if there is no proof that you car was locked, then no crime. I believe the article was about the same guy that made the glitter bombs for porch pirates made one for cars. Cameras, glitter bombs, fart spray....quite funny.

You should be a motorcycle sportbike rider when Torque and Biker Boyz came out. They were absolutely trash bad.

Reluctant ND. Prototype means it was haphazardly put together because the cars were meant to be destroyed, not sold. So the build quality is second rate. Fairly friendly car with all the waves in the body work it gives!

Pontiac. Bring back the wide-track.

Now playing

Can’t talk about Normal, Illinois without talking about Effington. But for the car...decent shape, lots of work, but still too much.

My telluride does a lot of things on a screen. Music, Bluetooth, rear climate, front climate, but a lot of them are duplicated by buttons. They can also be activated by voice control.

talk to me about that Celica sitting behind it...!

I had a tech fat finger the miles on an oil change, then got it right the next time. Got rid of vehicle, Carmax had to fix the issue.

Stories from my dad: Travelling, travel trailer, just finished raining, no shoulder to speak of. Dad always drove under the speed limit, but still in some Podunk town got pulled over. He saw the cop, but kept slowly moving on. He eventually stopped, but barely past a railroad crossing, on the road. If we sunk in, we
