What ever happened to the OEM tires lasting so long? Dad’s 87 Toyota truck, the OEM tires lasted to over 100k. He only changed them because a guy he works with bought another 87 and put on bigger tires, so dad bought them. They were sitting in the basement for over 5 years. Now we are lucky if they last to 25K on OEM

Start walking or biking across the hood/roof/trunk of their cars. They are in your lane...Make sure feet or tires are muddy or somehow have paint on them.

How does one non-aggressively honk their horn? Is there a different horn? Can it tell by the look on my face of anger or smiles? Some laws are so confuzing...

You are totally correct about a intercom/sound system. I’ve got a new-ish AGV helmet, and I took the system that was in my old helmet and put it in. Streaming is the best way to go. That way map directions will override music. Going for a distance does require a bit more of a long distance bike, or at least a gel or

Traffic stops or cameras and car safety checks. We’ve already got in car breathalyzers coming. Up next, everyone is buckled in with a true grounded connection or the car won’t go into gear. Agreed, something needs to change. How many pounds or tons of illegal drugs have been taken off the streets because of traffic

Off road or fat tire bike, up the trunk, down on the windshield. Maybe an exception for a cop car. Broken windshield or rear glass will change someone’s mind after a few deductible payments, also causing the insurance to go up.

I think a Chevy SS or something to blend in with. No flashy, just plain boring. Taxi. Or, be devious, get an ex-cop car and put the stripes back on it. They’ll be looking for one of their own at that point.

Try worrying about this on a motorcycle. Usually when I see someone around me with the phone up to their ear on my bike, I rev it up, with the exhaust close to their window. Loud enough they can’t hear. I might get dirty looks, but, ZFG.

Roads like these don’t work up north, where we need to move snow.

Decades ago, local bank sponsored a bicycle ride. One leg of it was across federal lands, arsenal to be exact, with their own police force. They were handing out tickets for those that were speeding (20 MPH zone) or running stop signs.

I can see inspecting cars that are more than 5-7, even 10 years old. But, it needs to be done by the state, not some random shop. Everyone knows someone that runs an automotive shop of some type. You get an inspection, a list of things that should be taken car of (frame, electrical) and a time frame to take care of

Ford Raptor/Tremor.

Ford Thunderbird Turbo or SuperCoupe. Sharp looking, decently obtainable.

Some would assume this to be a challenge.

I had my deer hit with Progressive. Talk to the local rep, so in case you do have an accident, you can take it to one of their preferred body shops. I didn’t. 5 months later, even though I have the car, I’m waiting for things to complete the repair. 2022 Telluride. Progressive guy is awesome.

What’s wrong with P-town? I liked going there. One of the top 10 gentlemen’s club was there. I had fun, when I wasn’t getting hit on by some homeless lady there (true story).

Maybe be like an airport, where it’s $34K per minute that a train is stopped, per intersection. Airports are about $10k/min. Depends on airport.

Decades ago, my FIL somehow bought the 4th set of experimental Reynolds Aluminum cross ram heads. The first three were on the the land speed record car. Only four were made. Many years later, he had them on a ‘61 Catalina batwing NHRA race car. Car won the 1962 Nationals in Indy. Anyhow, we were at a show at the race

If this is linked back to Springfield, or wherever the server farm would be at, then the government could a lot easier revoke it. Delete it, mark as denied, or I could see some hacker getting this and changing Pritzker’s face to crusty the clown or something. Not that he isn’t already....

I have two. One being my 1991 Ford Probe LX. Around town, was acceptable. Long distance, more than 4 hours I started to hurt. Uncomfortable. Was glad to see that car go. Second one is the mid-90's Camaro/firebird as a front seat passenger. The lack of foot room was unbearable for the 10 minutes I was in it.
