On my last motorcycle, I was just taking it easy around town because I had just got new tires on it. For the non-two wheel people, the first few miles of a new tire are just as bad as the end. All sorts of slick because of the preservative put on the tire. At a T-intersection, I thought I had enough worn off, so I

Beyond agreed. When I was looking to replace my 2008 4Runner, I went to the Toyota dealership and looked at the 4Runner. 11 years newer, and it looked the exact same. Same interior, same exterior. Minor changes. Very minor. I was disappointed.

Unless it’s that godawful Torque. Then the sport bikes are plastic cladded off road bikes. Horrible. Just horrible.

A rental. A car you aren’t used to, with all season tires that are probably worn out or nearly there.

That being said, Jeremy seems like a cool dude, like somebody who chops his own Groot firewood. I’d probably hang out with him if we lived closer together.

Went bumper hunting on Halloween. Got an 8 pointer. It’s now early January, still don’t have car back. Mix of new OEM and new aftermarket parts. Body shop that was putting my car together was using used parts, even though insurance said to use new parts. It was done, once, but started leaking. That is when the used

Iowa had a couple of rounds of bird flu. Killed off many birds. Again. Have to get the eggs growing to chickens so they can produce the eggs.

All the correct boxes ticked until the price. ND.

Just priced too high. Kept rust at bay, kept up on maintenance, interior good for age & miles, weathertech liners to keep the floor clean, some upgrades on the headlights, radio. Just might start to have issues....soon. Even being a Toyota.

Maybe we need to be like Sweden? where they charge you a percentage of your income rather than a flat fee. The rich can afford to speed, but when it costs 30k, that will slow you down. I’m all for red light & speed cameras, but not used as a source of income for government.

Tim is a car guy. He did help Cadillac with the DTS.

I have driven a Samurai in winter. Heat was not available. But there wasn’t much that it would not go through!

A lady we used to hang out with wife & I drove her up to Minneapolis to the VA clinic. Stayed with the in-laws for a night, took her to the clinic, some shopping, then back home a day later. The normal 5 hour drive took me 8. I had newer tires, maybe 10k on them, 4WD on, and across northern Iowa the road was reduced

That damned deer. On an interstate, in town but on the edge of two towns. And a large town at that. Just over 140k people between the two towns. Well, large enough. Happened on halloween, and as of today (Dec 20th) I still don’t have it back. Waiting on parts, then more parts, and now even more parts. My rental ran

When the RC51 reigned supreme on the track, during the Daytona race the bike on the high bank oval, at just over 200 MPH, was still not getting all the traction it could. Bikes drive by the average or better than average Joe will run circles around 4 wheels. Even into some well banked corners. Flat turns are a lot

You didn’t see the article about the $80k Telluride on here then...

NP...no way to restore one for that cost.

Helping my brother in law finish my father in laws cars. He has a few, one was to go to my wife. ‘62 Catalina. It’s all there, decent shape, but he had a SD motor planned for it, interior, 4 speed trans. Also has a ‘64 Ford Country Squire that is mostly complete. Interior, motor needs to be sourced, trans & bell

How much do you think will make it back to the people that had their cars stolen?

From what I’ve heard, the makers of replica Eleanors were being made out of anything that year, and were modified to be a fastback. Even base models were altered.
