The dents could be easily removed. The roof dent I have fixed similar with my foot. An old buddy of mine flipped his car (not rolled, no damage to the sides) and caved the roof in - moon roof wouldn’t open. With his permission, I kicked at it a few times and it popped back into position. Working moon roof!

Oppression of a capitalist world? Everyone is looking to hire. Union halls, get some good money and benefits. Window/siding/roofing companies can’t find enough people. It’s honest work, and, probably don’t get shot.

John Deere requires everyone to wear hard hats. So does Alcoa, er, Arconic. Not a lot overhead either place, but there are a few cranes at Arconic. If something other than a bolt falls, you’re squish.

FIL did similar. Watermelon in a cooler for a few weeks in the back of a car. In summer. The cooler was buried. Not thrown away, but buried.

didn’t we already do this article?

the first year firebirds had a firebird as a side marker. That was cool as well.

use a bottle brush.

I was good until the miles.

I’ve got a Hot Wheels version of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701)

I also could not image that tank getting punctured in a wreck.

I lived just over an hour from work (midwest, all interstate) and my RWD ‘94 t-bird, although comfortable, was getting up there in miles and starting to rust. Got an used 2000 Saturn SC2 which had 20k miles when I got it. Sold it two years later at 103k. Other than two sets of tires, it cost me a whopping $1.87 in

I personally, don’t get this trend. But, it’s not my ride, so don’t bother. It’s an expression, an extension of the driver. Lifted trucks, I don’t get either, but I don’t go off-roading. Extended swing arms on motorcycles looks funny, but I like corners. Slammed cars look uncomfortable as hell to ride in, let alone

Look on the Kia lot. Base _base_ sportage can be had for $25k. A few goodies, and a few more dollars. Had one as a loaner, didn’t find it bad. Bang for the buck, right now, that’s it.

In the 60's there were dealers that would have busses lined up for those cheap buyers that didn’t want to pay the delivery charge. The dealership, once they got a bus full, would charge the buyers for their part of the bus, drive them to whichever plant, they would get the keys, drive it home.

Nice car, like the color combo, just a bit too many miles for this price. Decent otherwise.

Work truck for my wife, went from a 2014 Chevy Z71 to a 2021 GMC Denali diesel. 2014 had the 5.2L, peppy engine. Diesel gets MUCH better MPG, and she really likes the cameras that came on the tech package. Like the writer, she’s a bit shorter (5'2") and the cameras really help with the corner location. What it is

ME: 1/4 tank in the summer, 3/8 in the winter. I have a 39 mile round trip commute, 1/2 city. 1/2 rural.

50 MPG, manual, and I live in farm country, where there is diesel everywhere. Still many miles to go on this car. Great shape for the miles, I’d buy. NP.

ND. Still an HHR.

I got offered almost $1k over what I paid for my 2020 Telluride in August 2019. Already got one on order so....why not?
