only people trained to remove a helmet should do so. Improperly removing it can cause neck or spinal injuries after an accident. Some full face helmets have an inner and outer layer. The hard outer shell can be removed without the inner liner being removed, it just snaps in.

4WD Explorer Limited is in the $60k range. With most of the bells and whistles.

Car has been taken care of. This was someone’s pride & joy. Probably never off roading (rims) and although the paint may be faded from what isn’t under wrap, nothing a wax or clay bar and a couple of days can’t take care of. Or put a wrap back on it, albeit more tasteful to the new owner. Rims have got to go. I’m sure

At first I thought it was something Top Gear did, until it looked to cartoonish after they had passed. Very funny!

I agree with the -gate things, but ... plethora?

A Samurai wasn’t suited for high-speed anything. source:ex wife had one.

If there plated somewhere, they do have a right to be on the road. Buddy of mine here in western IL also has land in Montana, where they will plate just about anything. DD broke down, took his plated quad to get a part, about 2 miles away, in a lesser urban area. Got pulled over by county. It was plated. He had

you really like to watch people die in firey deaths, don’t you? The Samurai was dangerous with the barely a motor it had in it.

My 4Runner (2008, 4L) got 18.2/18.5 with mixed in town/country roads driving. Get your foot out of it, man, it’s not a race car by any means.

I’ve got one similar, but orange. Bit more chewed up.

Just bought a Telluride (Dealer actually had one on the lot!) and it’s a mix of key & app. Remote start? app. enjoy paying for that. bastards.

one of the few motorcycle wrecks I saw, the EMT/first responder friend I was riding with went to him, immediately. All the other guys the downed rider knew went for his bike. The group I knew parted ways with the group he knew (downed rider was the only person I knew) and we got him home, injured bike and all.

Maybe if they had spend some money updating it, more electronic goodies (USB ports?) then it would sell more. Yes, it’s meant for off roading, but with today’s tech some goodies are nice. Yes, it needs to be BOF for true off roading. doesn’t mean it needs to ride like a wagon with wooden wheels.

when my grandfather painted barns there was more lead in the paint then..paint. but it was still red. And the barn still stands today, at least the first farm (4 story tall barn, historical landmark). I remember my father telling me that there would be lead left over when all the paint was gone. Made it stick better,

There is a town in Illinois along the Mississippi River that is pronounced “My-Lin” as to not get confused. Even less of a place to be at then Milan, MI.

For dealers matching another dealership’s offer, is no. Even with new cars. Personal experience. I’m also in Illinois, was dealing buying a new vehicle from a friend, or Chicago-land. The dealership in Chicago was much better. Took the deal to a friend, said he couldn’t buy the car for that price from the manufacturer

I’m guessing the only reason why David has a picture of a Tesla is because his mail jeep is in it.

thanks for all the pictures. As deadpool said “I should have worn my white pants!”

Common sense, people. Think it’s dangerous? Water standing, snowing, hailing, sleet, bad weather? Slow down, move over, get off the interstate, pull off the road for a bit. Grab a beverage, take a break, it will pass, eventually.

had an ‘84 hatchback with the 22RE; mom DD’d an 89. Any time I drove it, it was a visit from officer not-so-friendly reminding me to slow down with paper proof. Somehow she flipped the car. Telephone guide wire doing less than 30 - was in town, and she had no lead foot. Don’t know how that happened since she had to
