I don't like to by the first gen of ANY product. I didn't buy and iPhone when it first came out. A couple months ago I knew Win7 Phones were coming out soon and because they would be so new and because I didn't feel Android/Palm was where they should be I replaced my iPhone 3G with an iPhone 4 and I'm happy. I'll

If they can match Apple's 3G iPad price and contract (month-to-month), I'll strongly consider a Galaxy Tab. If the no-contract or month-to-month 3G version is $1000, as has been speculated, I won't be a Galaxy Tab owner.

@sharmanova: I found a page that detailed now to downgrade my 3G back to 3.1.3 and am glad I did - 3.1.3 (as you know) works MUCH better on the 3G devices.

I don't "see" the 3D in most 3D movies except for a few shots here and there. I usually feel it's just another way for them to get a few more dollars to sit in a more crowded theater. While I thought Despicable Me had some nice 3D visuals, more often than not I choose to just see the 2D version of the movie.

I initially voted (in the call for contenders) for KeePass. Thanks to this I've started using LastPass. I am now voting for LassPass.

I have been using TaxSlayer for several years now and absolutely love their service, so much easier to use than TurboTax and easier to use means fewer mistakes, IMO. I don't ever see myself going back to TurboTax.

For coffee we use and love our French Press (Bodum). For tea we love our ingenuiTEA by Adagio - brilliant tea making device (might work for coffee, too). #coffee

I do use Dropbox to synchronize my PWSafe but intead of OneNote I use Evernote and it can automatically sync, using their servers as the backend, multiple machines. I just provide Evernote my username / password and it syncs the files to each machine automatically, quick and fast. Multiple notebooks on multiple

Absolutely UltraEdit. No questions in my mind about this one.

I would say something like Ruby, Groovy, or Java over C++. C++ leaves you worrying too much about pointers and memory allocation/freeing — which is good to learn, but learn "programming" first. Python's insistence of code format might be good training, but might leave new programmers frustrated. Also, the syntax is a

I would strongly urge people out there to give [TaxSlayer.com] a try... Costs you nothing to try it. I started using it 2 years ago after using TurboTax for YEARS. I will never go back.
