One of the things that makes Spanish easy to learn (apart from the similar alphabet and sounds) is its internal consistency. There’s no “i before e, except after c” rules like there are in English. Each letter makes the same sound, all the time, unless it has a diacritical mark (like ` or ~) which affect letters the

Almost as good: when they tested the Nissan Rogue, the “Cons” list started with “Dull as dry toast.”

Livers, yes. Gizzards, no.

Serious question: does the BRZ have a different (i.e. better) audio system?

About the whole “no fans” thing: I went to the Thunder-Jazz game on Saturday, and there was literally one Jazz fan in the whole arena. Every time Westbrook would be up for free-throws, the guy would keep yelling “BRICK” and similar things despite sitting in the nosebleeds. I was honestly surprised the guy was able to

I totally get where you’re coming from and agree, but the people holding this theory did so as part of the moral calisthenics required to vote for him because they wanted the Supreme Court pick, or a Republican in the WH. Wrong is wrong.

Forgot about Kelly. That makes 4, though my point still stands.

I think in this case it boiled down to him being head of the RNC’s communications, so he was first in line so to speak, despite Trump having considered others. I agree with you though, if he got the job, what does that say about the other candidates?

Either way, he actually has experience in the field, unlike a good chunk of the rest of 45's appointees (looking at you, THE ENTIRE CABINET BESIDES GEN. MATTIS)

Ha! What did he say to that?

Didn’t say he was good, just qualified. According to this CNN article, he worked for a while in communications for the GOP (including as communications director for the RNC) before working for the Trump campaign.

During the campaign, a lot of people subscribed to the theory that Trump would hire competent people to fill in the gaps, and that he would just kind of be a figurehead, like he seemed to do in his other ventures. That was, admittedly the best-case scenario. I think it’s a testament to how wrong that theory was that

Was there a strict “no Friends references” policy when interviewing Matt? I was surprised you didn’t make the hypothetical food in the car a meatball sub. Rory and Chris wouldn’t have said anything, but Matt...
