Every time a new ad comes out you can tell who funded it by the level of dog whistling. This and a few of the other NRCC ads are among the worst, and sound time deaf next to the Faso campaign’s ads.  They are finding themselves trailing late in the campaign, though, so they're getting more desperate.

It’s a columbarium. We have one at my church. I don't know what the legal requirements are but the only thing keeping Disney from cashing in is trying to deal with the PR.

The EU likely has no industry standard to point to for them to follow. The Qi charging standard has a 5W specification and no 10W specification, and Google’s claim is that the 10W charging option is for a proprietary standard that is not the same as Qi.

None of these companies are going to sign on to a tour of duty. It would instantly hurt recruiting at a time when there is a ton of competition for tech talent on a national level.

Consecutive throws from the one yard line aren’t doing jack for their second year running back’s confidence.

I saw one of the anti 112 ads on TV last weekend. I live in New York.

Spanish influenza was most dangerous for young adults because it triggered a cytokine storm reaction. Simplest explanation is that inflammation and fluid accumulation in the lungs from an overreaction of the immune system effectively drowns the victims from the inside. As much as our understanding of medicine and

He’d probably want to, since the mascot gets paid.

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone who lives that way was looking for the opportunity to film something like this.  Or it could have been a driver ahead of the semi who decided he had to see how it would turn out.

Protester kneels at a church in the morning and at a football game in the afternoon. Is he showing disrespect both times?

Don’t actually think it matters.

Colombia’s fullbacks seem wildly overmatched by attackers running toward them.

Can you imagine moving to an expensive house at the end of a soul crushing commute in order to get your son in a good school and having this happen?  I just became a dad last year and thinking about all the shit like this that can happen in the “best” schools.

1st gear: my dad, at the age of 60 with one artificial knee, the other one soon to be replaced, and a handicap placard in his hand, finds every opportunity to drive my GTI. It can't be easier for him to get in than it is for me but a CUV is absolutely not required to get into and out of a car comfortably. To me it's

It’s not trivial but it’s certainly possible to make nuclear plants robust enough to handle each of those events.  Still, it’s nice that they’re rare for a large part of Canada.

Probably arguing that you should use the abundant energy sources that you have. But Canada has abundant uranium reserves and its own reliable reactor design (CANDU).  No reason Canada's home grown power has to be carbon emitting.

I never saw the appeal to using the drive through rather than waiting in the store.  It doesn’t seem to take any less time.

I feel like I have to comment on this tragedy, as it pertains to the Greater Schenectady Area.

Vast majority of northerners don’t know how to drive in the snow, either. They just assume that it gets magically imbued into them at birth.

They pulled the 24,000 years quote from a Ukrainian ecology minister, but I don’t know that she had any basis for saying it.  Strontium 90 and Cesium 137 are the more plentiful radioactive isotopes that were released into the environment by the disaster, and both of them have a half life closer to 30 years.  24,000
