There have been easy to install graphic packs for at least 15 years. “ASCII only” has not been a thing for probably as long as you’ve known the game existed.

Probably not a huge bummer for most. I work in game dev (software engineer) and it’s just a job for me. As a gamer myself I obviously care about putting out a high quality product the same as I’d want to buy, but while I’d be disappointed if a game I released flopped like this I wouldn’t be too distraught over it.

Kawasaki Warehouse in Japan had a couple machines of it. I don’t know where they ended up after it closed though, or where any others might be.

If you only buy during buy one get one sales it’s like $20 for a tub of 40 servings (including shipping). That’s pretty comparable to other energy drinks.

For me it’s just about the flavor variety. Lots of interesting and fun flavors.

It’s just a platform for making and sharing games. Think of it like garry’s mod or warcraft 3 custom maps but with minecraft graphics. It’s really not anything complicated or arcane.

The world building is non-existent? Have you not realized every single item has lore text on it? Plus the huge amount of environmental story telling.
