What are you even talking about? The article is just reporting on how Japanese people are surprised by how Sans refers to himself in the Japanese localization. No one here is mad...
You climb to the top? Fun hike.
Yeah I wasn’t 100% blind. I was told to max temperance and fortune quickly. I got the final confidant rank on literally the last day of the game, so I definitely was cutting it close. I’m sure luck played a big role in it as well, as I didn’t even know character schedules.
They were obviously talking about confidants here, as evidenced by the comment about the time limit. I wouldn’t call a NG+ secret boss fight “story”.
So yes, you can’t see everything in the game without doing NG+. But, unlike the author said, you *can* do all the confidants without NG+.
>It’s literally impossible to see the whole story on your first playthrough, as the game’s time limits mean you’re constantly having to juggle and prioritise your social schedule.
Have you played the game and beaten it? If not: That’s why you don’t understand the headline. The game gives you a reason to delete your save.
You’re missing the point, I think. It’s a dungeon crawler. Resource management is a key element of dungeon crawlers. It’s not forcing you to not use what you can to win, it’s forcing you to carefully consider *when* you use what you can to win.
There was never any doubt that people will pirate games if they can. The question that matters is whether piracy hurts game sales or not.
If they had waited the ~5-6 months for the English dub, then the release would probably have been just a little bit before the announcement of the extend version. After how pissed off people got when that happened with chronophantasma, I’m not surprised they’re trying to rush it out.
Holy shit what are you on? They just want to know if the game is fun. There’s no need to act like such a jerk.
I don’t understand why you think anyone cares. You’re that person who, when everyone is talking about thenew episode of a show they like, butts in and says “Yeah, I don’t like that show.”
He says a different line if he’s on your team. You only hear “It’s High Noon” if an enemy McCree uses his ult. So he’s trolling his own team.
Look at where the hero select cursor is- it’s all the way in the support area.
It’s fine. He’s just saying “This dragon will eat my enemies”, not “Dragon! Eat my enemies!” I agree the tone doesn’t match as well, but it’s not necessarily incorrect.
How many JRPGs pay any attention to this issue at all? Shit, how many video games do? I’d struggle to name any other than Persona 4.
That’s one of the biggest problems with this whole GG/SJW thing, I think. Both sides are incapable of understanding that the other side is comprised of individuals, not a hive-mind all speaking in unison.
She can write whatever she wants, but that doesn’t make it good, and it doesn’t make it immune from criticism.
Asking someone to actually consider what the article says instead of making (incorrect) assumptions is being a bigot? GG isn’t pissed about there being a trans character in Baulder’s Gate; they’re pissed about there being a terribly written hammy as hell trans character in Baulder’s Gate. If it were just about the…
Kanji’s arc focused on gender identity, primarily. He was into very traditional girly things, so he thought something was wrong with him and he should be ashamed. This was reinforced for him when he was attracted to Naoto (before he knew she was a woman). Eventually though he learns though that his likes and interests…
