The only games I've played where there's no default name are Shin Megami Tensei games, and even in those I never use my real name. Those characters aren't me, they're a character in the game I'm playing. Jake Blake in Persona 4 and Jack John in Soul Hackers are way cooler than I am, that's for sure.
