I wouldn't say its unpopular, more to the fact that it is difficult. It really is a grind to get your B.S. in Comp Sci, you really have to dedicate yourself 100% of the time. Kids these days don't have that patience.

ACR 6.8 is still beast. With the akimbo and 95 being nerfed, I can see my kill count go up even more.
