I think you thinking that people are “looking for things” to be offended is where we differ in thought. I don’t really agree with the characterization that often happens when someone is critiqued that people are just looking to be upset as if the subject matter is totally fine and should be no problem at all.

Before this shit came out, I took a look at Chris Rock’s newest standup on Netflix and I’m not the least bit surprised. He definitely sips the “I’m not like those other negroes” tang. It’s sad to see how many Black people go full Omarosa once the paychecks start coming in.

I’m legitimately surprised by Seinfeld being the one to speak up about it, but on thinking a little, he’s always avoided ‘shock’ humour of any sort, so that makes some sense.
