In a Jezebel thread, a woman who’s boyfriend is a career-long bartender says Kavanope looked “massively hungover.” I didn’t see it at the time, but I think he nailed it. 

I’m convinced that he beats her or at least threatens it on a regular basis. What we saw was the true man after his facade was peeled back by a few fucking questions. His wife either walks on eggshells around him, which is emotional or psychological abuse, or she doesn’t and gets those hands. This much I am sure of.
