The only defense anyone has of Bernie Sanders is full of whataboutisms. “Buh-buh-buh Obama didn’t do anything about cash bail either! What about Hillary, remember she said super predators that one time, she isn’t talking about it, no one is talking about how bad she is!”

The fact that he has no problem ignoring POC and thereby letting his followers do the same while proclaiming that they are the true liberals is beyond aggravating.

Because at the end of the day, he’s a white guy (Jewish people can also be white, don’t @me), and has benefited from white supremacy. Why would he bite the hand that has fed him very well? 

What is “woke” about being like “Hey, this very clearly obvious racist thing that very clearly and obviously affects black people is in effect racist and affects black people?”

Shit like this is why i can’t ride for Bernie. It’s like a mental tic with him. He has tourettes and can’t help ending every sentence with some variation of “What about white people!!” “White working class!!” “Economic Anxiety!!”

But it’s also an economic issue in a sense that if you are a poor, white person, you’re gonna be in the same position.
