Only on Tuesdays.
Thank goodness it doesn't resemble that hilarious shop that Collins put together.
TL;DR version: if you didn't need another reason to dislike the new GM full size trucks, these catch on fire.
You're not helping his case.
Can't really fault the guy then. I mean, save a ton of money or don't? Yes, I pick save a ton of money.
That's right; They weren't SRT's, but you're wrong because my dealership had four if I remember correctly, three on the lot and one the showroom. Also, what was your point? A high priced challenger will sell in volume? Because no it won't.
Cross post to jezebel for body image support.
I was like sweet! Then I saw 4.8 and was like aaaawww... Meh, close enough I guess
I don't know why I open myself up to this.
insert dumbass physics question here
Thanks for the input. I think drdude has straightened me out. I didn't think it through.
Not trying to rustle your jimmy bud. And you didn't have to respond if you're tired of trying to explain to some idiot on the internet who didn't grasp your first explanation. I've been on here long enough to know that I'll get a metric truck ton (see what I did there?) of replies with physics equations and people…
Is the point you're making that because the truck weighs more it's more likely to absorb a larger amount of damage as a lighter vehicle may absorb and reflect and lesser amount?
No it doesn't. Side. impact. test. The truck door is constructed identically to the 1500, is it not? Hitting the door (driver or passenger side) which is constructed the exact same as the 1500 with a sled that weighs the exact same amount does not make sense to me how one could fair less in the test. Someone else care…
How does it have to stop 1000 lb more on a side impact test? They're not drifting the truck into something, right? They're hitting a stationary truck with something else on the side; is that not right? Did I mis-read something?
Why would the side crash rating be worse on the 2500? I'm looking at the regular cab number. I assumed the cabs were constructed the same way. What am I missing?
Agreed about the power problem, but I'm not sure how many of these they'll actually manage to sell. How many of those SMS 570's did they sell? Weren't they like $67K?
I came back to say okay, maybe it's not last, but I think your response is much more eloquent than mine would have been. Kudos.
Agreed. Dying in a nursing home ranks last on my list of ways I want to go out.
