I like to hit the sales at NY&CO and Loft to get comfortable grown up/work clothes. Two cardigans for $40? Yes please!
YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, Christ.
FYI from a grown woman who resembles a 10yo boy (medical condition...party on) these are legitimately horrible on us skinny folk too...sure you don’t need a bra if you don’t actually have tits, but no boobs+skinny shoulders and chest+this shape of top=an old-school nun’s headgear on a toothpick. Not good.
Preach. I’m not sitting down and having my waistband hit my (rather small) tits EVER AGAIN!

It’s that time of the year again where I’m getting a taste of the summer months to come. More specifically, this…
What????!!!! Anyone who prefers the vanilla/ chocolate ones* is objectively wrong!
Still not enough! This church group from Hamilton, ON wasn’t allowed to cross the border to do volunteer work because they’d be stealing American jobs:
I hope we lose all of them. Honestly. I hope we lose every single tourist that we would have otherwise, and I work in an industry that depends on tourism. Because that is the only way to get through the heads of the Nazis in power right now. $$$
There was also a study that said Canadians with cystic fibrosis live 10 years longer than Americans with the same condition. They cite..... access to HEALTH INSURANCE as a primary reason.
Ditto. I made it clear to my employers that I will not be doing any travels to the US (from Canada) until they completely reverse their policy.
“We can’t leave a girl behind.”
The fishing license is only required if they need a voter ID card in North Carolina.
My University issued a statement a few weeks ago advising students to avoid travel to the US and basically cancelling all school-funded trips down there, too.
I saw a news story last week about a Canadian citizen - born here - whose parents are from India. She has tried to travel to the US twice since Trump was elected and was turned away both times because of made-up issues about her needing a visa because she’s an immigrant, which she is not. She’d already booked a group…
As a Canadian, I won’t be going to the U.S. until Trump is out of office. I resent the fact that innocent people are being denied entry based solely on their skin colour. My co-workers friend was denied entry because she was brown skinned - her religion, Sikh, is not even remotely close to muslim. I have a feeling…
You forgot a step - they also need to have previously made sure to get an immigrant visa for no particular reason, even though it’s not at all applicable. Maybe a fishing license, too, because why not?
This is no doubt because, beyond the actual ban, there have been a bunch of news reports about non-white Canadians - not naturalized immigrants, but born citizens - being turned away at the border being falsely told they need a special visa to enter the US because they are an immigrant. So it’s not even a case where…
This is silly. All they’ll have to do is turn over their phones and passwords, explain their political views, show all of their social media posts and follows, answer questions about their religion, win two out of three games of speed chess, describe Joni Mitchell’s hometown, and sit in a windowless room for 11 hours…
