Switched at Birth had a completely signed/subtitled episode (although they warned viewers beforehand so they'd know why there was no sound).

It was SO weird. There were 2 scenes for it in this episode seemingly out of nowhere and with little to no plot development.
I liked this episode quite a bit. I like when iZombie plays around with tone and directorial style. The sequence in the beginning, where Cheryl gets poisoned, was hilarious - down to the coworker's scream in the bathroom. It reminded me of the cheery cafe murder episode, which felt like it came out of Pushing…
I don't believe that Cochran was actually bullied. I think he just liked the attention from Ulong and Coach.
Oh yeah, love me some fake cheese dust. It's just amusing to me how those group of ingredients make up all Vegan FoodTM
In Ozzy's defense (ugh, can't believe I'm doing this), his social game in South Pacific was pretty good. The entire Savaii tribe (except Cochran) was 100% on his side.
LOL apple cider vinegar. Apparently I've missed some memo about how it's life-changing or something, along with Bragg's, liquid smoke, and nutritional yeast.
In defense of vegans, my boyfriend used to live with several vegetarian-turned-vegans who were excellent cooks. I was mostly bummed when they became vegan and the desserts weren't as good. They did their best, but nothing lives up to a brown butter pecan pie.
Honestly, that's pretty realistic based on my high school experience.
I'm wondering if the direction they go in is an asexual-not-aromantic portrayal of Jughead. Like, he still has romantic feelings for Betty but doesn't want to have sex.
I used to have 4 people mooching on my Netflix account. As soon as I was barred watching Netflix the first time because too many accounts were in use, everyone was kicked off for good. I let them know ahead of time.
For a second I thought Lyla Garrity was on that list and I was going to give you a hard time.
Playing competent characters is boring.
Fake idols are extra good this season with the no-tie rule.
Can all of these CW shows hire Being Erica actors? So many Canadian actors, but not enough Erin Karpluk sightings…
This show is one of the best examples of a comedy procedural. So many comedies have the same backdrop setting - the coffee shop, the office, so-and-so's apartment - and you rarely see a comedy like Party Down, where each episode takes place in a slightly different world. It's a amazingly well-executed show.
iZombie has a bit of this as well. Love watching the Rob Thomas regulars.
(Spoilers if you aren't caught up on your Freeform teen dramas)
LaToya tweeted that it's coming late. I got nervous that they cut Riverdale reviews :O
I've gotten into arguments about the book on AV Club before. What I love about it is the setting. The town where the story takes place is the weird, gloomy suburban setting. It captured a lot of the boredom and dread that I experienced as a teenager growing up in the suburbs, and I loved watching Clay take me on a…
