But isn’t the point of ending the show with Dexter’s letter to Hannah in the front seat of Harrison’s car to let Harrison off the hook for any guilt over the murder? The letter basically reads, “Please kill me.” And the show has been suggesting that killing Dexter is the authentic way to follow the code. The superhero

I’m not sure what I would have done differently (I’m no writer), but it just seemed like the conclusion of the Mr. Krabs/Harrison “courting” came way too soon. I realize they only have like 2 episodes left this season, but maybe they could’ve done something with Mr. Krabs completely turning Harrison against Dexter

B+ for the acting and that final minute alone.

That’s a good point. He should apologize publicly.

I guess I’m the only one who wasn’t feeling Crenshawn’s apology. You’re gonna drag me personally and my company all over AL Gore’s internet LOUDLY and then offer me this weak little quiet ass apology? Go apologize in public just like you dragged me in public, mofo.

who is in a fast-track to become the worst cop in Dexter’s history since Angel Batista.”

This. I don’t care if it goes through beats I’ve seen before, I like those beats; that’s part of why I watch these kinds of things. It’s like watching jazz players play classics, it’s not about the things that are the same, it’s about what’s different around the edges. And yeah, I’d watch Enos mop floors.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the role of the editor in chief at most major publications is to pound their fist on the desk and yell “Someone get me pictures of Spider-man!”

It wasn’t that it would make it easier to be Editor in Chief, it was that it would be easier for Kara psychologically. The split was taking a psychich toll on her that she couldn’t live with anymore.

For such a “liberal” show, the whole “let’s invade people’s mind, shut down their defense mechanism so they can listen to our message” was quite unsettling ..to say the least.

Thanks for this “spot on” review!
The season was the worst of the lot, but the last 30 mins or so of the finale left me with a smile in my face.
They were many WTF moments (really Alex? frak up the whole planet to save your daughter?) but at the end we had the wedding (even if the brides never had any love chemistry

you make a lot of good points but as for Helen Slater’s showing up at the fight? No surprise, she would have come in town early for the wedding,
the injoke of being a Kryptonian “only in the movies” was a nice nod.

they spent the whole 100th episode explaining how the world would burn if she’d told just one person her secret identity sooner, then the whole penultimate episode of the series showing how dangerous it is when villains target Kara’s loved ones, THEN THEY DECIDED TO TELL ALL THE VILLAINS EVERYWHERE EXACTLY WHO HER

- This fucking show.

It’s probably not a good thing that my first thought when the finale was over was “What was the point of any of that?”

This episode was necessary, but because I have always rooted for Lawrence to become the good man I think he can be, I don’t like how the writers went for the lowest common denominator and made him somewhat of a deadbeat. Yes, he WANTS to be there for his son, but he doesn’t know how to be there, but why? He obviously

To be fair, the minutiae of a firearms background check is not particularly compelling TV.

The one obvious part of the episode was you KNEW that a-hole was going to come out of nowhere and shoot the deer with his supergun.

Hey, I’m all for a “Surprise, Lumberfucker!” Doakes appearance.

The sad thing is the small town stuff was actually kind of enjoyable. I doubt they could sustain it but, if they could, that would actually make a fun show to watch. But as soon as they introduce the asshole and kept underlining ‘Hi, I’m going to die’ ever single second he was on screen it all nosedived.
