And I don’t care what the judges say, Silky’s performance wasn’t anything special, but then the whole group just seemed loud and confused.

I was honestly shocked at Shuga’s critiques. They laughed at her jokes throughout the whole performance so it felt very... produced that she was in the Bottom 2.

I buy it as well-I just hope that we get it over with. Season 5 was a mess, and I don’t want it to drag down this new season too much. They are trying to stick to the characters, but does it really matter when it’s built on such a rocky foundation like Season 5 was. The character moments are still where this show

Queen Blodreina talked Kane to death!

Glad the site is still covering this! And I agree with the review. The potential, as always, is there for the show to break out of its repetitive storytelling rut and deliver something, fresh, exciting, and bold. The only question is whether it’ll deliver. Could go either way. Some really nice character moments

-I really love the Legends as CXG songs feature!

- The opening scene between Barry and Iris was absolutely glorious. Well acted and emotionally charged.

Yeah this episode was quite a good episode of Arrow. Ernie Hudson, of course, was great and delivered some of the best acting we’ve seen on Arrow, and it had solid action and plot twists. That’s what I like to see.

Just adding to your Arrow observations to say the container holding the super virus/bacteria was in a string of pearls configuration strongly resembling the Bioweapons in the movie The Rock.

Well, he told Tyrion his story, at least.

It really doesn’t. Yes, if everyone else dies, the idea of Arya and Gendry’s theoretical child could be relevant, but Gendry is a bastard, and there’s no secret annulment/marriage storyline that could change the fact like it did for Jon.

I found it interesting that you presume that Martin *will* introduce the Night King. Martin did of course tell the legend of the Night King, but that particular character/story did not, at least in the books to date, seem to have much of anything in common with the show version. For that matter, hasn’t Martin hinted

I know that time’s a factor in this final season, but aren’t there some implications for Arya and Gendry’s hookup from an Iron Throne perspective? The series always makes a big deal out of heirs and claims and whatnot, so why wouldn’t a Baratheon/Stark tryst cast a long shadow here?

You’re kidding me, right? He found out that she was a girl early in season 2.

I thought it was hilarious that it took spending less than 2 minutes with the Hound and Beric to push Arya to “get some while the gettin’s good.”

She’s 22, it was her choice, and she owned the scene. She was completely in control in that trist. Did anyone really think that Gendry had any choice? This was Arya taking what she wanted. She’s strong.

At first I was like Gendry quit stalling and man up and then I was like please stop this is weird

My biggest takeaway from that scene? Gendry was totally a virgin. “Three” is the answer all virgins give when asked if they’ve done it.

I’ve been with my girlfriend for nine years. We’re not waiting for anything, but we don’t want to get married. We’re just going to stay as we are. Not everyone needs to codify their relationship.
